Visit Santa

Visit Santa at The Blue Pool in Dorset this Christmas. Set in a beautiful woodland location, this family-friendly Christmas event includes a festive woodland trail leading to the cosy grotto where children can meet Santa and receive a special gift. Suitable for children of all ages.

Tickets are limited and must be booked in advance to avoid disappointment. If your preferred date is sold out, you can join the waiting list via Eventbrite. You’ll be automatically notified if a space becomes available—though please note, availability is not guaranteed.

How to Book

Select Your Date and Time: Choose the date and either a morning (10am – 12:30pm) or afternoon (1:30-4:30pm) slot for your visit.

Choose your Tickets:

  • Every child who wants to visit Santa in the grotto must have a Visit Santa ticket. A separate General Admission ticket is not required.
  • All other visitors (including adults and children not visiting Santa) will need a General Admission ticket to enter The Blue Pool. General Admission tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite or on the day of your visit at the ticket gate.
  • Children under 5 who are not visiting Santa can enter The Blue Pool for free.

On the Day

  • Arrival and Check-In: Arrive at The Blue Pool any time during your chosen morning or afternoon time slot and show your ticket confirmation email (on your phone or printed) at the gate. Our friendly team will provide you with a special ticket to enter the grotto.
  • Head to Santa’s grotto: Follow the festive trail and present your special ticket to Santa’s elf at the entrance to the grotto.

Please note there may be a queue when you arrive at the grotto.

Important

  • Accompanying Adults: Up to 2 adults may accompany each child into Santa’s grotto. These adults do not need a Visit Santa ticket but must have a general admission ticket.
  • Children Under 5: General admission to The Blue Pool is free for under 5s but they will need a Visit Santa ticket if they wish to meet Santa and receive a gift.
  • Accessibility: Entry to the grotto is fully accessible by wheelchair, if you have any specific requirements please contact us prior to your visit. The festive trail is along our woodland trail which is wheelchair friendly in good weather conditions.
