Christmas Magic at The Blue Pool
30 November - 23 December
Step into an enchanting woodland setting for a truly memorable Christmas experience.

Take a peaceful winter stroll through the Nature Reserve, and experience the beauty of the season with a crisp woodland walk. - Festive Drinks
Enjoy hot, seasonal drinks on the terrace by the fire pits, surrounded by twinkling festoon lights and the sound of Christmas music. - Christmas Gifts
Browse a selection of charming gifts in our gift shop, perfect for bringing some Christmas cheer home. - Arts & Crafts – £5 per person
Children can get crafty and create fun decorations while enjoying some delicious hot chocolate.
*Normal admission fees apply. Blue Pool members receive a 10% discount in the gift shop and on arts & crafts activities.
Visit Santa – £15 per child (plus booking fee) – book via Eventbrite
Follow the festive trail leading to Santa’s grotto, take magical photos on Santa’s sleigh, then meet Santa himself and receive a special gift! Choose a morning slot (10:00am – 12:30pm) or afternoon slot (1:30-4:30pm) on one of the following dates:
7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd December.
We have waiting lists for fully booked dates in case of cancellations. However, please note that a space is not guaranteed with this option

Illuminate 2025
9 January – 23 February
Kicking off the New year and celebrating 90 years of The Blue Pool Nature Reserve & Tearooms, join us for a spectacular light show!
- Over 1km of professionally lit trails
Wander along beautifully lit trails, where each turn unveils stunning light displays. - Enchanting pool display
Experience a mesmerising display of lights dancing over The Blue Pool. - Music, firepits and marshmallow toasting
Cosy up in the Tearooms or by the fire pits on the terrace, enjoy music, and indulge in the simple joy of toasting marshmallows under the twinkling night sky.
